‘The Not So Beautiful Game’ was a proactive campaign I originally led during the 2016 World Cup for The National Centre for Domestic Violence. It’s impact then was huge, plus it won multiple awards, including a gold Cannes Lion. During the Euro’s the campaign was just as relevant. Media companies came forward and enabled a new OOH run - including sites at Wembley Park. The Metro ran a piece on the surge in domestic abuse following the Euro’s final and featured our campaign. Article here.

In 2014, while I was a creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi, I was asked to give a talk about being a female creative director. Rather than preach to the converted, I wanted to reach a wider audience - including those who may doubt how creative women can be, so I created and co-curated an exhibition to celebrate female creativity. There’s a Good Girl was the first all-women exhibition (The Saatchi Gallery did their first all-female exhibition a year later). Twenty incredible artists took part, including Alison Jackson, Pam Glew, Hattie Stewart and Sara Pope. It attracted widespread press attention within the advertising industry and beyond, including this double-page spread in The Independent.

Following Brexit, hate-crime more than doubled. I curated a second exhibition called There’s a Good Immigrant, to showcase the invaluable creativity and diverse perspectives that migrants bring to the UK. The exhibition received much press attention - part of which involved a live interview on Monocle Radio with one of the artists, Sara Shamsavari.

After a Private View At Saatchi & Saatchi the exhibition, There’s a Good Girl, moved to a space in Soho where it was open to the public for free for several months. Style Magazine highlighted it.
